Scratchpad is free to use for any purpose, personal or commercial. There's nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay. Everything runs in your browser.

By using the site you agree to the rules below. The rules are short on purpose.

We test the tools and we care about getting them right, but we can't promise they're bug-free or that they'll always produce the result you expect. Don't use Scratchpad for anything where the cost of a wrong answer is higher than you can afford. If you're hashing production secrets or diffing legal contracts, double-check the output.

No warranty, express or implied. No guarantee of availability. The site might go down. A tool might change. A feature might disappear.

Anything you paste into a tool is yours. We don't claim it, store it, or see it. The code runs in your browser.

The site itself, the tools, the copy, the design, all belong to Scratchpad. Linking to us is welcome. Copying the site wholesale is not.

Please don't hammer the site with automated traffic, try to take it down, or use it for anything illegal. Cloudflare's edge handles the brunt of the internet anyway, but we'd rather not find out where the limits are.

Scraping the content to train a model or mirror it elsewhere is not welcome. The copy took real work.

If something goes wrong while you're using Scratchpad, we're not liable for damages, lost time, lost data, or anything else. Use the site at your own risk. If that's not workable for your situation, don't use the site.

These terms might change. The date at the top reflects the last revision. Material changes get flagged on this page with a visible note.
